Hello, everyone! I'm Amar Chaudhary, recognized for my roles as a marketer, brand builder, entrepreneur, dreamer, hustler, mentor, coach, social impact thinker, concept leader, and above all, a firm believer in hard work and smart strategies.
Graduating as a mechanical engineer from Bhagalpur College of Engineering, I became the first engineer from my village. This achievement ignited a spark within me to keep pushing forward and never look back. Though I was selected by IIT Delhi, life's challenges forced me to prioritize financial stability and start working instead.
However after my post graduation, IIM Ahmedabad gave me one of the best placement offers. However, doing the most unexpected was kind of my forte!
I've always had a dream of being a successful entrepreneur and engaging with business enthusiasts worldwide to explore startup structures and business culture. It's time to turn that dream into reality and take the first steps instead of just wondering.
In 2007, I established a platform called Aapkakhaana.com, which resembled the current-day Zomato. However, during that time, the term "startup" was not commonly known or used. In 2017, I introduced another initiative called "Smart student," with the objective of inspiring and motivating children who are the fundamental pillars of our nation. Furthermore, the establishment of "Mission Ethical India'' expanded my knowledge and overall experience, and this endeavor received recognition and appreciation from the CMOs and DoEs in five states.
With the aim of inspiring and serving others, my first startup venture, "Chakhnashot," was born. This snacking brand received significant appreciation and quickly achieved remarkable success. Each day, the brand experienced growth, and through relentless day and night efforts, we managed to fulfill one million orders within a year. As we crossed this significant milestone, Chakhnashot's popularity reached even Saudi Arabia, where it garnered immense demand and consumer admiration. Loved by people from all walks of life, Chakhnashot became a globally sought-after brand. The journey began with an intriguing tale of four friends, including myself, discussing the casual consumption of unhealthy "chakhna" snacks and the need for healthier yet equally delicious alternatives. Through a thorough process, Chakhnashot, once just an idea, transformed into a vibrant reality.
The global pandemic, COVID-19, had a profound impact on all of us, instilling fear and devastation. It compelled me to take action and help those in need who were suffering. However, I had a sudden realization that if the weakened immune system was the underlying cause, why not address that directly? My mother encouraged me to find a solution rather than passively pondering.
I started preparing nutritious sprout mixes and shared them with people I knew. The positive feedback I received gave me direction and led to my second idea, BoYo Bold as You. BoYo is a healthy snacking brand that offers a wide range of nutritional and delicious snacks. It started with a few mixes but has now expanded to include exclusive nuts, berries, trail mixes, jaggery-coated treats, popular crunchy strips, and more. BoYo has gained recognition, receiving awards such as "Brand of the Year" and titles like "Emerging Brand" and "Gold Seller." It has become the talk of the town, with people eagerly awaiting new product launches while enjoying the existing ones on the go.
My ongoing mission to connect and engage with 2 million people worldwide, recognizing deserving startups and serving the country, has already gained recognition and appreciation from a wide range of enthusiastic individuals, entrepreneurial associates, founders, and a larger audience.
Recognizing the importance of a strong startup culture in building India's economy and fostering self-reliance, it is crucial for everyone to adopt this perspective. The roots of our startup culture are slowly spreading, and it is vital to wholeheartedly acknowledge and support these creative efforts. My mission is to connect 10,000 founders across India and provide a safe and nurturing environment for startups to express themselves and thrive. These initiatives are my top priority because they contribute to building a strong community and ethical business culture, which is a national requirement. Our national mission, HumaraBharatStartupWala, embodies this spirit, and its successful journey has strengthened my belief that positive change and improvement are indeed possible.
